Monday 8:25 am
Red mind was whirling as she heaped her slipping heavy rucksack back over her shoulder, her body wavering around by the sudden mass change as if the ground was moving under her. Her whole body was wrecked and all she wanted to do now was to crash into bed, even though it was 8 in the morning. Stifling a yawn, Red dropped her luggage which contained of her rucksack, plastic bag full of her school uniform which had been crumpled up and stuffed into the bag and her school bag. She had only just arrived this morning and was already lost, her bright blue eyes searching desperately for any kinds of signs or direction toward the dorms. Sweeping a stray lock of red hair back behind her ear, Red grabbed her stuff again and dragged it the rest of the way to the dorms. "Room 2, Ok, you can do this" her voice was ragged and forced, she had never been alone before, with no friends or family, that being said, she had never been anywhere outside the Uk. This whole new experience was happening too quickly for her small mind to take in, and frustration was setting along with the jet lag.
A deep breath came in and out, clearing her ranting mind and relaxing her whole body. It seemed to be getting harder and harder to calm herself, keep her, well her. With none of her thoughts taking up Red's mind, the wolf inside took advantage of this and came crawling toward her unprepared mind. It was as if it had real claws and was trying to claw its way out of her head, sending pain thought every muscle and bone in her body. Please, please, not now. Not. Now Pushing forward, surprising the wolf into submission, for now. The pain was now a distance memory, opening her eyes Red realised her hand was gripping the doorway of room number two, her short nails digging into the hard wood. Taking her hand off as if the wood was boiling hot, she wiped her blooded finger tips onto her scruffy trousers, gritting her teeth together. Red knew she was unstable, but nothing like this. Ever since she had been given the heavy burden of moving to the other side of the world, alone, she felt like she was more stressed than normal.
Taking a step toward the almost intimidating dorm room, she turned the the handle to reveal a modern living space and out of the corner of her eye, she could see two single beds, iron and layed out perfectly. "Cosy" Her words were harsh, she couldn't bear the thought that she would stay here for the rest of her school years, separated from her friends and more important her animals. Dropping her stuff at the end off one of the bed, she started to unpack her only belongings. First another pair of cloths, all she had was the cloths she was wearing and the ones in her hands, next was her sketch pad, full of drawing of landscapes and animals. But near the end pages the same wolf and girl seemed to be sitting together in each one, quickly Red slammed the pad shut. Looking down at these simple thing made her feel homesick, she had only been able to bring hand luggage since her parents were hardly able to pay for the school fees, let alone the plane price. Glancing over at her timetable she realised she was supposed to be at maths, Who cares Stuffing the timetable into her pocket, Red grabbed her school bag full of her new books and walked out of her new room.

It was that time of the year again, yes, the time that the Nakaumi Academy schooling experience began once again, and with a new year came new students; something that Paige was very excited about, new youngsters that adopted into the Nakaumi Community, new youngsters to meet and get to know, to offer help and guidance throughout the new year. The large class was filled with excited chatter of students, as well as the snores of careless newbies who decided to stay up late the night before their first day of classes. amongst the class rushed Paige, all hyped up since the early hours of the morning, eager to meet and welcome the new students who had recently arrived to the academy.
"...and I must again welcome you two to Nakaumi- Jackson fix your tie!- it really is a pleasure to have new students join our community- Alice, do unroll your skirt, dear- Anyway I'll leave you girls to get settled, class starts in a moment, Im sure you'll love your teacher, he's ever so nice! have a good day!"
Paige waved goodbye and walked off, he could hear the two girls giggling and whispering as they sat down at their seats, he didn't know if they were excited about the new year or just giggling over him, either way he wasn't fazed by it, there were more important things to worry about. As he came to the teachers desk he spun around and leant against the wooden edge, one hand gripping the clip board in his hands, ticking off all the new students he had met. "Grace and Jessica, check!", His finger trailed along the list of names, all were ticked, his finger stopped and tapped against one of the printed names, all but one.
'Redem Marsh'[/b]
Paige tapped the name harder, his eyes scanning the room of students, occasionally glaring at some who had not yet sat down in their seats. No one in the room appeared to match the image printed on his paper. Flipping out his red biro he circled the name and scanned the room once more, making sure he hadn't missed a face. He circled the name again and again, and again, and again, and again. riiipppp. Paige blinked and looked down at his clip board; the tip of the pen had ripped through the paper. Paige bit his cheek and glared at the paper, and with a small huff he clicked his pen and placed it back into his pocket, spinning sharply to the side and briskly walking out of the class and down the hall.
One of the biggest rules at Nakaumi was that boys stayed in the 'boy area' and girls in the 'girl area', the mingling of boys and girls in the other's restricted area was strictly forbidden. the genders were only to mix during school hours, but the entering of the opposite genders dorms was strictly forbidden during all hours. Paige rushed down the path towards the girls dormitories, just get in and out as fast as you can, he thought to himself as he pushed the door open. No one appeared to be in the dorms, which was of a good thing. of course no one is here, he thought, class has started. Flipping a few pages over on his clipboard, Paige located the dorm room he was looking for. At the end of the first floor was a door marked with a gold '2' on the top, Paige knocked on the door quickly and stepped back a little, waiting for the owner of the dorm to answer. after a moment there was no answer, Paige bit his lip and knocked again, louder this time. The door opened before he could pull his hand away, The girl on the other side stared at him in surprise.
"Miss Marsh! Hello!" Paige quickly pushed his hand out for her to take, "My name is Paige Bellemare, I am one of the Prefects here at Nakaumi! It's nice to meet you! Welcome to Nakaumi Academy! I was looking for you in your math class this morning but I couldn't find you anywhere!" Paige was nervously looking around the corridor as he spoke, keeping watch in case anyone appeared and found him here. his fingers drummed against the edge of his clipboard and his held out hand was shaking ever so slightly, "is there a reason why you aren't in class, Miss Marsh? Not feeling too well? Lots of people feel that way on their first day, I know I did!"

It was just like home again, skipping lessons to do what she wanted. Go hiking to the hills, or take her horse out, her parents had known all about it but had hardly said a word, so this was a complete change to her normal routa. Red slowly rubbed her tired eyes as her hand went to the door handle, what was she doing? Where was she going to go? Was there anywhere to go? All these thoughts took hold of her fragile mind, all with no clear answer. She knew nothing of the surroundings, simple the vague description of the new modern touch and new facility's her mum had told her. It was amazing, the simple thought of her mum sitting by the oven with her arms crossed as a young Red came plodding in caked in mud, could bring tears welling in her eyes and strain every heart string there could be.
Slowly Red's eyes wondered to a tall mirror in the corner of the modern dorm, her own reflection stared back at her, its hard, cold blue eyes brought out by the fact that deep purperly black bags hang under them which held ageist her pale, almost white skin looked like a endless pit of tiredness. She never saw herself as vain, just very concerned about how she looked like to other people. At Red's old school, when she bothered to turn up, she didn't really care how they looked at her, the girl with curly cork-screw ginger hair always wearing dirty clothes and no make-up unlike the rest of the girls in her year. But now looking at the short, straight ginger haired girl made Red miss the careless girl she once was, and it was all because of her 'gift'.
Her hand suddenly made the slightest of movement with the door as a light tapping sound of someone knocking, Oh shit Was the first thought Red had as she staggered away from the door, she knew no one here and was now she would going to have to face someone like her, maybe someone worst. As quick as possible, she grabbed her crumpled up skirt and quickly buckled it around her waist, it was a little small but it was the cheapest one the school shop and that was all she could afford these days. Kicking off her trousers so she looked like she was about to change for going to class, Red swung open the door. In the door way stood a boy, he looked a little older than her but that could easily be misjudged by the fact that Red was about the same height as him. His fisted hand was still hanging awkwardly in the air as her blue eyes leveled with his, This better be good Her mind sneered as she noticed the clipboard by his side.
"Miss Marsh! Hello!" His voice was quick as she looked down at his outstretched hand and slowly she shook it, at first she thought he would be the kind of guy who would keep his head down, but it appears not. "Please, call me Red" Red said once she thought he had stopped talkings, she hated when people called her by her last name, it always sounded like marshmallow or marshal and plus it made her sound so much older. "Oh- Sorry, I just arrived this morning and I got a bit lost" She said in her sweetest girlest way, but it was hard since her strong scottish accent was coming though. "I'm lucky I even got here" Red lied innocently, "You know your way around here if your a prefect, could you just stay here while I get into my uniform and you can show me where the math block is, so I wouldn't be late again?" Red had noticed how uncomfortable he was around here, So let him suffer a little longer Without waiting for a answer, she turned around and lightly pushed the door so it didn't look like she was slamming it in his face and kicked the rest of her clothes off. Shoving on her crumpled up uniform as quickly as possible, Red picked up the tie and stared at it like it was a venomous snake, then shrugged and left it to hang around her neck.
quickly Red open the door again, "Ready, hope i wasn't too long"

Before Paige could say a word of protest, Red had already closed the door shut. He clenched the clipboard tighter and kept his eyes fixed on the entrance to the dorms, mentally planning an escape plan in his head if anyone were to enter into the dorms. He began tapping his foot against the carpeted ground, staring at his watch every 3 seconds. Soon enough the girl came back out of her room; she was dressed in a crinkled unironed uniform.
Paige looked up and down the girls uniform and cringed, the uniform was something Paige would get up at most people for, and just the sheer site of how Red was wearing hers made him shiver in disgust. He sighed and spun to the side, walking quickly to the entrance of the Dorm building, his hand ushering her to follow as he huffed, “Come along then, we’ll worry about your uniform later”. As they exited the building Paige began to walk faster, he wanted to get away as fast as he could, “Geez, if any teachers knew I was here, if Andrei knew I was here, I’d be dead for sure!” Paige was mumbling to himself as he flipped through the pages attached to his clip board. He ripped out a few pages and handed them to the girl behind him, “Here is a list of all the class rooms you will be in, and which seat you will be allocated in, who your teacher is…” He ripped out another sheet, “The list of other students in your class, it’s good to get to know their names quickly.” Paige took a sharp turn to the left, walking up into a grassy area with a pond, the entire time his eyes did not leave the clipboard in his hand. “Redem Marsh… A shifter I see- Grey wolf? Very nice…” He flipped through the pages, scanning all the information on her that was given to the school. “It’s nice to welcome a new shifter to the school, do you like your power?” Before Red could answer Paige flipped another page and continued on reading through her personal information, “You like sport? I don’t really like it that much, I’m only good at tennis, but that’s about it, I can’t run or swim or do all of those things.”
He turned again, towards a large set of glass doors, still not even bothering to look up from his clipboard he pushed one of the doors open with his shoulder, taking a moment to pull his eyes away from the clipboard to look and see if the girl was actually following him or had been left behind. “Oh good, you’re still here, the amount of times people have just left while I was taking them somewhere and I ended up looking like an idiot talking to myself…” He laughed and then gave a sigh, “Yeahhh…that seems to happen a lot… Anyway!” He continued on, “Hurry up now, you’re already late for class! Good thing I have spares first thing on a Monday…”
The two walked up to the third level of the classrooms where he turned to a class on the left, “Now if you need anything else you can come talk to me or the other prefect in the student council office in the reception, If you can’t find it just ask the ever so lovely ladies in the front office~” and with that, Paige pushed the door open without knocking. The class was face down in their books working as the teacher was leaning back on his chair watching them, hearing the door open he turned to look at the two students.
“Good morning, Sir!” Paige chimed happily as he stepped into the classroom, holding the door open for Red to walk in behind him.
“Good Morning, PB, what brings you here?” The teacher asked.
“I’m just here to drop off a new student, Redem Marsh I presume?”
The teacher looked down at a piece of paper, his head nodding when he found Red’s name on the role. “Ah yes, thank you, PB.”
Paige patted Red on the back and smiled, “Have a good first day~ Remember if you need any help just ask~” And with that Paige closed the classroom door and walked off, There was much to do at the student council office, and if he didn’t hurry Andrei would probably cave his head in.

Reds long legs were able to keep up with this guys quick pace and not make her look like she was speed walking, Seesh, this guy can't keep his mouth shut Red hated people who just kept talking and talking, because at least once in every sentence their going to say something hurtful. Subconsusionaly she tugged down on her skirt to try to pull out the crinkles and make it a little longer but her hips stopped it from going any further down. It was strange, Red has good legs, and even she knows that, but still she wants to hide them, wear long shorts, never wear skirts.
A harsh sigh came out of Red's lips as she tied the bow around her neck, never had she seen a school use bows before, what happened to ties? At the thought of her cloths, her eyes slid over to the well dressed boy next to her. His uniform was perfect, no stains or mud, Does he not live? She lived for mud and seeing someone without it made her just think of someone living in a class room all day, no sports, no fun. Andrei? Dead? She guessed boys wen't allowed in the girls dorms by the looks of it, that was something different.
Red snapped back from her daydreaming to see papers handed to her, she had only listened to this guys ranting with one ear and it was a surprise that he was helping her find her class, even though she didn't want to go. Taking them she examined their contence and once again listened to him with one ear, until he said wolf. "Shifter, Grey wolf, must be nice" Those were all the words Red caught but still it had a impact. You don't even know" Red forced the words out of gritted teeth, he didn't know how much it hurt, he didn't know how every second of her life she had been worrying about the day she will loss it and possibly hurt someone, he didn't know how it felt to so different. Glancing at him up and down, she guessed his power was something to do with his mind, maybe he thought quickly and that would explain the talking. "It would be nice to have a new shifter" Were there other shifters? Slowly Red let her mind take hold as the boy kept talking as they came to the five floor classroom building, she didn't want to snap out on her first day and by the way he had come to find her, she guessed he was important to the school.
At the mention of sports, it brought back the memorys of sitting in a plain all night and those few guilty sweets and chocolates, she should really go for a run after lessons around campus and get use to her new home. Home... Taking her eyes off the floor, Red walked through the glass doors that- squinting her eyes to read his name on his clothes, Paige Bellemare had held open for her. She felt even sorry for the boy walking a few steps infrount of her, by what he had told her on their short walk to lessons, he sound like the person who didn't really get out much... Or had many friends. It was quiet rich coming for her though, she knew no one and very much doubted that anyone would want to stay long with her short temper.
Red nodded as he stopped outside the class, it did relive some weight off her shoulders at the thought that she wasn't alone, that this was a school for people like her and that she wasn't different. But everyone she had seen looked relaxed, in control of themselves, even if they didn't resemble a human in the slightest way. When the door opened, Red stood rigid at the door way as the boy who's name seemed to be PB talked to the teacher. Her whole body flinched when he patted her on the back, did people still do that? Nodding she apologized to the teacher and took up one of the empty seats at the back which must be hers and slumped back and prepared herself for a whole day of boring lessons.
