Although the Academy is made up of gifted students, there are still a large amount of humans in the school population. 02 Gifted Human - A human with supernatural powers, could be magical, intellectual or physical. Gifted humans have a prolonged life span (lives no longer than 150 years) but cannot be immortal unless immortality is their sole power. If you need any help with created a gifted human don't hesitate to mail a staff member. (Witches, warlocks, mages, etc are sub-species of gifted humans) 03 Elemental Human - A human with a wide range of powers specialising in one of the elements. These humans were gifted at a young age whether they had known it or not by the elements, these elements include; earth, fire, water, wind and spirit. Elemental Humans have the same life span as gifted humans. At some point of their realisation of their elemental powers, elemental humans will learn how to shift into their ethereal forms and tap into their elements. 04 Animal Shifters – These students can shift into an (only can shift into one animal, not multiple) animal at will. Animal shifters are born or have inherited their power, they cannot be turned into a shifter by anyone else. Shifters cannot speak when they are in their animal form, and are only allowed to shift in the privacy of their own dorms or in a class situation that requires it. Animal shifters are immortal but stop aging when they're 21. 05 Mutant – Mutants have in one form or another (whether they had inherited it at birth or had some kind of experience in their life that caused them to change, prolonged exposure to something may create a mutant) have inherited some kind of power. Every mutant has some kind of physical trait that marks them as a mutant, such as a different coloured skin, gills, irregular limbs, animal parts grown onto them, etc. Mutants can either have a prolonged life span or a normal life span.
