Monday 11:16
Lap 4, Ok one more. Red glanced around the large oval, the sun was nestled behind some thick clouds and the bitter cold was biting at her bare legs. Her breath was condensing the moment she opened her mouth, oh what a great day for a run. Running in the cold was Red's specialty, heat was something she just couldn't bear. The cold weather hardly seemed to affect her, wearing her team Lacrosse top and running shorts would seem mad if anyone who saw her but living in much harsher weather like this all year round does toughen up the skin. Each breath seemed to scar the inside of her lungs and throat which made her lungs feel tight and uncomfortable. Stupid Asthma Red muttered between her gasps of breath, apparently her grandfather had very bad Asthma but it had skipped her dad and now she had it, just making life difficult altogether. "Like other things" Luckily her asthma wasn't that bad and would only make it hard to breath, nothing meager.
When Red ran was really the only time that colour would come to her skin, she could feel her cheeks bright red and her legs were like a newly plucked goose. Turning the final corner facing toward the wind, she gave one final push to sprint over the line. Slowing to a walk and slowing her breathing to its normal rate, the red haired girl looked around the pitch for the PE teacher. Either he was very late or wasn't going to turn up, she didn't really care. Walking over to her phone she glanced down at the screen, one new message and 3 missed calls but that wasn't what she was looking at. "4:02 to run 5 laps, not my best..." Pressing the stop on her time watcher, and dropping her brick of a phone back on the ground next to her water bottle and jumper. Maybe she should go back and get a shower before her next lesson, but the pull to play lacrosse was too strong to resist. Leaning over Red grabbed her blue lacrosse stick off the ground, it was cold at her touch but that didn't put her off. She had been worrying that the plane staff wouldn't let her take the stick onto the plane but after some persuasion they had allowed it to sit by her. Stooping down to pick up a hard ball with the wide opening of the stick head, Red started to throw the ball at a wall, catching and throwing over and over again. She should really look for someone else who can play Lacrosse, or maybe she could teach someone.
After a while everything gets boring, and this was no exception. Even though her legs were burning, she took up the ball and started to cradle with it around a lap again, passing herself ground balls. Red's mind started to wonder again, what was her next lesson, care group then gifted? She wondered if Gifted class had anything to do with her 'gift'. As if called, the wolf inside her started to growl, she could feel her rib cage rattle with the vibration. Even thought the wolf didn't physically growl, she could see its blurry white face in her mind, its grey hackles bristling with rage and its black lips pealed back to revile its white fangs, how lovely. Red has never refereed to the wolf she shared her body with as a she, it suited more a it or The Wolf, maybe she should give it a name like fluffy or princess. Another growl from the depths of it's belly came echoing around her skull, at least she knew it wasn't stupid.
Ooc: Don't mind who reply's xD
