Well, you've ovbiously haven't met Connor. She shouts a lot and it is because of what she does. She constantly is either at a concert of a rock n' roll band or something of that sort, or is singing to her favorite song in the cafteria. Everyone loves to hear her sing because she does it so well. Its just so fun to be loud n' proud these days. DESTRUCTIVE -- Get her mad or even happy, she'll probably break a chair or break a vase or something. Everything she does requires her to do so. She can't help it, espeically on the dance floor. She'll stomp her feet, and scream on the top of her lungs in excitement. She just loves the thrill of it all. Its so fun. CARING -- Especially towards children and her son, Calix. Since his father was never there for him, she wants to be apart of his life. When he was born, she seriously considered giving him away, but she had to keep him. She loves her son and every child she meets is treated with warmth and kindness. She may not be the best mother in the world, but she attempts to live it up the fullest. She doesn't want him to end up like his deadbeat father who cheated on her. GAY -- Connor is always happy when she's cooking, caring for her son, and drinking any alcoholic beverage and getting her latest hit of drugs. She can't help it. Everyone thinks she's insane, but she just has ADHD. No biggie. HUMOROUS -- Whenever you see her, she'll be cracking a joke, wether cruel or lewd, immature or polite, its all here inside this chuckle factory of a woman. Don't judge her. It isn't her fault she loves to do that. If anything, blame fate. HISTORY: BIRTH -- Connor Marie Manning was born to a normal life. There wasn't much to it, really. Her father was the regular overworked and yet stern fatherly figure in her life, and he mother was a stay at home mom that cooked at cleaned on a regular basis. She was born on a mildly humid Summer day in Austrialia. Her parents knew she was different the day they laid eyes on her. Both mother and father had dark brown hair- this child, was born with neon blue hair that was a dark mop on her small head. As she cried out, her parents and the doctors looking at her in wonder, one doctor whispered to the other that something was wrong. So, they took Connor away from her parents for a while, for her mother, was ovbiously a very small and weak woman, didn't mind, for she was already dozing off in the bed and her father had to go back to work. Little did anyone know they'd do something other than care for her. CHILDHOOD -- Connor lived in the Women's Hospital for over a year of her life. Learning how to talk and walk from a wet nurse. Her mother was an exceptional mother, and was kind and caring, and always would visit her, while her father was on business trips. The doctors, while the girl would sleep, would test her blood, which was oddly spiked with some type of chemical. It was new to them all, in fact. Once the child had first said her first words, she had one day watched TV in her so called "room" and while her wet nurse was actually a man in general, he was as well in there with her, watching her with amused eyes as she sung her ABC's. She sung so beautifully, that he couldn't keep his hands off her. As he reached for her, her mother had bursted in and screamed at him, calling him a child molestor and grabbing her child, still singing, in her arms. Her wet nurse was sued, despite Connor's weeping. This man had taken care of since the beginning, and he was replaced with a mean old lady, who would hit her when she did something bad. After a few more years of this, she was finally allowed to leave the hospital and go home. EARLY CHILDHOOD -- At age twelve, she found out, what she was. She, looking up her gifts on her mother's laptop, found out she was a Siren. Or a Sea Witch. She was horrifiyied because that, on her first day of seventh grade was the next day and she had chorus. The next day, her music teacher asked her to sing. Connor out right refused. Everyone laughed dher, thinking she couldn't sing worth anything. In her rage, she shoved the teacher out the way and played a song on his CD player. She stood in front of the class and sung, and she closed her eyes and she danced and naturally had fun. After a while, she began to get dizzy, unaware of what she was doing. All she knew she was singing, for her moth was open, and she heard the music and she was generally having fun. It felt like only a few minutes, but the song was over, and she was exhausted. Collasping on the floor, she saw everyone else clapping and singing and praising with her, laughing with each other. With wide eyes, she watched as their faces were morphed. They all looked surprised, some angry. They were dancing against their will! Connor stood and smiled. She could control everyone's movements with a flick of her wrists, and even though she was really tired, continued dancing and grooving with the unwilling but still moving class. Even the teacher she had was dancing. Finally, she stopped, and everyone collasped, some in sleep, others in extreme exhaustion. But she felt happy. Almost in a high, drunk daze. She silently vowed to never control anyone again that day. LATE CHILDHOOD -- Fast forwarding to age sixteen. Now, at her fully adult height, she seems like a fair kid with alot going for her. Well, your wrong. Sixteen year old Connor has already began smoking and staying up late at night, going to night clubs and drinking like hell is on her heels. What can her perents do? Their gifted child excelled in school, so they were somewhat proud of her. But, soon, after she begun this, she began to badmouth her parents, she hated her mom because she took away her wet nurse and he was still in jail (yeah, Connor has a pretty extensive memory) and she doesn't like her father either because he never spends time with her because he's always on "business trips" when really, he is cheating on her mother. She had caught him in the act, to make a long story short, he begged for her forgivness and told her not to tell her mother, which she didn't. This made her have a loathing of cheaters and liars, and her dad was no exception. One night on the town, she met a the "perfect" guy. He went to her highschool, and was two tears older than her. He understood her and comforted her. She introduced him to her parents, who as well thought he was a polite gentleman. Martin was his name. Connor and Martin's relationship lasted for two years, well into her senior year and Martin was just beginning college. After a while, the relationship slowly, but surely grew more serious with each passing day. An... accident happened, and Connor, unsure of what to do and who to tell, found herself- pregnant. Instead of being frightened, she was excited like every idiotic teen. She loved children, so she assumed Martin would be happy to. When she finally got enough guts to tell him, instead of being happy, he broke up with her and quickly began avoiding her and seeing other people. Connor was crushed, and soon began to drown her depression with drugs and alcohol, despite being pregnant. One her mother had found out about her pregnancy, she was outraged that Martin wasn't taking full responsiblity, and that Connor would be lured into something as dumb as sex at a young age, neverless she helped her crying daughter. As before, in the months following, their bond soared to new heights as her mother taught her the perks of pregnancy, after nine full months of tears and eager waiting, her father never knew because he was on a year old business trip and wouldn't be back until New Year's Day, on a misty early mourning, Connor went into labor and was quickly rushed to the same hospital she was born in herself. At 5:00 am, after a painful labor, her mother by her side, she gave birth to a boy, oddly with dark brown hair like his grandparents. He was named Calix. Connor was losing blood very swiftly, and was very weak, but she lived through, although, the pregnancy cause her to become infertile, she was told. Holding the small child in her arms, she closed her eyes and had fallen asleep. YOUNG ADULT -- Once returning home, Connor quickly returned to her school, she was treated awefully since she had given birth. She actually had gotten back together with Martin as well. The relationship was taken expecially slow, and Martin visited his son often as a baby. Connor was actaully enjoying her life so far, until, she came home early to feed Calix, since her mother went out with her girlfriends, she found Martin in bed with another girl. Letting out a screech of rage, Connor quickly threw out them both, both naked. After raging about for a few hours alone in the house, she slowly calmed down and began crying. She was in fact plotting her revenge in the back of her mind. She didn't know it quite yet, but something snapped. She was sick of being walked all over. After a week of planning, she invited Martin over her house for dinner. Her mother went over a friend's so it was just him and her... alone. She had made the meal herself, and had put all his favorite foods in front of him. As they ate, Martin told her of a stomach ache he was getting. He went upstairs into her room to lay down, and she followed. She pretended his cheating had never happened, and she comforted him, whispering words of comfort and love. Martin finally was dozing off, and she sung to him, quietly, and it progressive grew louder, until he was completely under her infauation spell. She had unpluged the lamp nearby and slammed it on the top of his head, knocking the wind out of him. As he fell to the floor, she kept beating him with it, litterally smashing the glass into his skull, all the while singing loudly so he stayed under her spell, as well so he wouldn't move. Finally, she had soon had a dead man sprawled under her. She panicked, and she cleaned the carpet, stained with his blood and took a shower to wash the blood off her body and clothing. Removing the body, she quickly drove to a abandoned house on the far side of town and dumped him there. She returned home, and pretended nothing happened. Her mother returned home, and saw everything was in order. She was surprised she hadn't gone insane in the process of the murder, but she felt perfectly fine. No regret, nothing. Connor quickly finished highschool, and went to college, where she followed her calling for food and arts. She graduated with high marks as well. She quickly moved away from her mother, and her father had died before New Year's in a car accident. Serves him right. PRESENT -- She had applied for the chef of Nakaumi Academy because she found out the place was for the gifted as well as offered her a job in cooking. She is happy now, with a growing son and a nice home to boot, she still to this day doesn't feel an remorse for want she had done to Martin, either. POWER Connor's powers are very... odd. Maybe a bit scary if you think about it and the horrible thing she had gotten away with. Connor is a atuned "Party God" and with proper music and words, can make anyone she's around throw a wild party even the police can't stop. Depnding on her moods, it must be a loud, wild song to get her groovin', so you might want to avoid her when she's cooking, she'll be playing the loudest song she knows, and anyone nearby will join her in a frenzied attempt to party will her. As well, a more personal gift is that she is a Siren, meaning, with a song, she can bring anyone she doesn't favor to their death's. Of course her singing with be so beatiful that you won't notice she has a knife out or is doing something cruel towards you. So, its best for you not to get on her bad side. That's what happened with her boyfriend years ago. The Pros to this unnatural power is that, with a few modifcations, while cooking and listening to music, can make the best food. You'll know she's in a good mood when you smell cooking food all the way from your dorm, as well as loud, throbbing music. They both clash, yes, but just know your going to get fed well tonight. The Cons to this power is that, with drugs and alcohol mixed in with loud, disturbing music, can cause her to be a bit destructive and wild. As well, cause a huge, butt-load of people to forget what their doing and instantly start dancing against their will. With that, she can be partying all night. The longest she'd done that was for seven days. No sleep, no food. Just vodka and cigarettes and other unmentionables. When the music stops, she instantly crashes and is exhasted, causing her to become easily sick. So, this means she won't show up for work, so Connor means no food- well, atleast good food, anyway.
