PERSONALITY TRAITS:
François has a rather laid back personality. While he is actually very smart and intelligent, he feels that most school work is a waste of time, often saying he'd rather learn a trade then how to do calculus. This often makes his teachers seem disappointed, as he barely turns in his daily work, but makes excellent grades on all his tests and quizzes.
Also a rather quiet and reserved fellow, François doesn't talk much. As a child, he grew up in an orphanage, never knowing his parents, and was never adopted due to his powers. This, along with some of the verbal taunting he received from some of the other children have had a profound effect on him. However, his silence doesn't stop François from standing up for others, be it against an unjust accusation, or just scaring of the local bully.
HISTORY:
Born in a small town in Quebec, Canada, François was left at an orphanage at an early age. He was in perfect health, with no serious defects or flaws. The main reason he got picked on as a kid was because of his shifting abilities. As he grew older, he occupied himself with games of the mind and puzzles as a primarily as a way of coping with the taunting. As a result, his grades skyrocketed, earning a few awards here and there in junior high, although his teachers remarked that he didn't live up to his potential.
During his freshman year, he learned of Nakaumi Academy, and applied for a scholarship, thinking it was a college, and that he'd have to wait until his senior year to attend. To his surprise, he was accepted almost immediately. He is now currently in his sophomore year at the Academy.
POWER
Shifting- François is a shifter, and his alternate form is that of a fox. Unlike a normal red fox, François' fur in this form is actually black as night when it should be a autumn red or brown. It's speculated that this is one of the results of his tormented childhood. He also has violet eyes in this form. Like all shifters, he can't talk in this form.
